This also protects your computer from viruses, malware, and spyware. How and Why?

If the website displays adult images, obscene language, or anything else that is offensive and/or undesirable, we can filter it. The best part? If you have a personal laptop/computer, that one machine can remain unfiltered, so that you can enjoy the web as you see fit while protecting your children from what you find offensive. Every computer on your home wireless network can be protected from this content, or you can choose individually which machines can access which content. For example, you can still access your favorite discussion forum (which may include adult language), while your children cannot simply stumble upon it.

No worries, we have a solution for that annoying item. You may have to ‘show hidden files’ if you haven’t already:
1) Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
2) Click the View tab.
3) Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK.

For Windows 7 (and most likely Vista):
1) Edit your config.xml file in c:\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Skype\[Skype Username]
2) Remove entire section bound by at the beginning and <\StatsSender> at the end.
3) Save
4) Quit & Restart Skype

For Windows XP:
1) Edit your config.xml file in c:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Application Data\Skype\[Skype Username]
2) Remove entire section bound by at the beginning and <\StatsSender> at the end.
3) Save
4) Quit & Restart Skype

After that, you’re done! Feel free to leave your folders the way they are, or follow the instructions above to ‘hide’ them again. Enjoy!
